Pulled in opposite directions for the first time in their lives, Aurelia traveled north to the wastes while Severin went south, each believing they protected the other by handling their assigned threat. During their separation, Lucid Temple forces destroyed the Eclipse Vigil's sanctuary in a coordinated assault. Now she wanders Tarsea's corrupted lands carrying Severin's token. She understands too late that their bond - their greatest weapon - had been turned against them, and that finding him again may be the only way to restore what they've both lost.
