    Happy New Year Ungodly players,

I’m excited to announce that 2026 heralds major updates to Ungodly.

First, we’ll begin the Trials of the Divine Atlas. The Atlas is an ancient stone tablet that serves as both guide and gatekeeper to the mythical Harmonium using the Trials as means to measure a hero’s worth. So its First Trial, Justice, pushes deeper into the ritual sacrifice that nearly consumed Damea and finally exposes the unholy alliance between Selenthrall and the Iron Purse. If you’ve been paying attention to Dunmiir, you may also notice a mysterious stranger seeking Kaida the Conjurer…

Vander stands guard while Damea activates the next Virtue Trial on the Divine AtlasWe’re also introducing our Achievement system, with over 100 new goals and (rewards!) spanning combat, exploration, and story. These are designed to celebrate mastery across all game areas.

Concept Art of future Boss – the Manticore of the Scar
Once a Keeper who tended the Garden of Souls, he abandoned his divine charge for the power of the howling wastes of the Crimson Scar and now wears the manticore’s flesh as eternal punishment – a crown of fangs traded for one of light.
His mortal visage still burns with stolen wisdom behind the face of a beast, asking riddles of those he hunts as an antidote for his wounded soul.

We will also be releasing Nethermaw Descent Season 2, “Dusk & Dawn”, which will expand the mode to 20 permanent levels and introduce a paired-party play from the Second Sanctum onward. You’ll need to think about how your Primals function together, not just in isolation. And I’m excited to share that we’re adding leaderboards which will let you track your clear times across the community, and rotating seasonal floors keep the mode challenging instead of solved.

Miraleth, the Wishless Djinn, is the last to escape her homeworld of Qadesh – but does so into the haunted hallways of the Nethermaw…

An upcoming time-limited Gacha will feature Severin, the Dusk Warden, and Aurelia, the Dawn Warden. They are a present-day pairing of the ancient order of the Eclipse Vigil – sworn to hold the line against the doom of the Nethermaw’s Final Eclipse. They are the best in their class and the vanguard against the void until… one day their vigilance wavers…

Severin is a high-risk Void damage dealer who trades his own health for explosive combo windows. Aurelia is a sword-and-shield divine warrior who brings sustained pressure, battlefield control, and protection to her allies. Together, their Twilight Surge Essence Burst creates a powerful damage-and-sustain loop built for long, punishing encounters.

Severin and Aurelia – battling back to back with perfect balance in their powers: Moon and Sun. Shadow and Light. Dusk and Dawn. Destiny. As the Divine intended.

Looking ahead, three more Primals will be coming to the Beginner’s Gacha:

    • Malketh, Death’s Claw, an execution-focused Ice Primal who rewards precise finishing
    • Thea, the Illusionist, who controls space through setup, positioning, and overwhelming Essence Bursts
    • Valoria, the War Saint of Healing, a fearless frontline support who blends healing and damage to keep her allies standin

This is only the beginning! Ungodly will have more trials, more Primals, and more moments where your choices matter.

The mysterious Magus Mor’Vane listens in on Vaelthara and Nicklaus – he appears to be family, but… is he?

Concept image of Lyanna, upcoming academy-trained Primal who can read the stars like threads of fate… someone to rival the never-ending knowledge of Kaida?

We’re proud to fight alongside you as this new era of the Divine Crusade begins. Every discussion, report, suggestion, and hour spent in Ungodly helps shape the game and the world we’re building together. This project is stronger because of the community behind it and spirit of its players, full stop.

Here’s to a new year of growth, discovery, and hard-earned victories.
